Polyethylene (PE for short, also known as polyethene) is the most commonly produced plastic in the world. It is very versatile and is used for buckets, plastic bags, freezer bags, bottle crates, baskets and dustbins - as well as for tents. Pipes and cable insulation are also made of PE. Polyethylene belongs to the plastic family of thermoplastics (plastic = malleable), which become softer and softer the more they are heated. In contact with chemicals, however, PE is very resistant: The material is resistant to salt solutions, alkalis and inorganic acids. Polyethylene is obtained through the polymerisation of ethene, a gaseous substance produced by the petrochemical processing of crude oil. Essentially, a distinction is made between two types of PE: The stretchable LDPE (LD = Low Density), which is used to make plastic bags and films, for example, and the more stable HDPE (HD = High Density), which is used to make pipes, among other things.

The soil cover net is generally used in the land with sparse vegetation and loose soil, the abandoned soil on the construction site, the port, the wharf coal storage yard and various storage yards. All kinds of open yard steel, building materials, cement and other enterprises. Coal storage yards in railway and highway coal gathering and transportation stations. Construction site and temporary construction site of road works. On-site production and living place. By covering exposed soil or coal and reducing the contact area with air, the mulching net prevents dust from being blown up by strong winds and reduces the pollution of atmospheric particulate matter.

Anti-frost net is mainly used in vegetables, mushrooms, flowers, edible fungi, seedlings, medicinal materials, ginseng, ganoderma lucidum and other crops are maintenance culture and aquatic poultry farming industry, general winter and spring cultivation of leaf vegetables to cover the anti-frost net directly on the surface of leaf vegetables. The anti-frost net is light in weight, and the tall leafy vegetables that have grown will not be overpowered, bent and reduced in commerciality. And because the anti-frost net has air permeability, the leaf surface is still dry after covering, reducing the disease attack.

PE tarpaulin and PVC tarpaulin are frequently used, PE tarpaulin can be used with scaffolding to ensure that workers are not affected by wind and rain or can be made into a fence cover to slow down temporary fence corrosion, and in some other cold and snowy countries will also use temporary roofs or snow tarps, which is all made of PVC tarpaulin, to reduce the impact of heavy snow on construction.
