Weather Resistance & UV Protection:PVC offers superior resistance to extreme weather conditions like heavy rain, snow, and UV exposure, providing better protection against UV rays and heat. PE, while providing shade, may allow some sunlight penetration. 

Weight & Flexibility:PE tarpaulins are lighter and easier to handle, while PVC tarpaulins are heavier but offer better structural stability. 

Feel & Structure:PE tarps often feel rough due to their woven structure, whereas PVC tarps have a smooth and waxy feel. 

Production:PE tarps are typically produced in a woven machine, while PVC tarpaulins are produced in a knife-coating machine.
